There are so many places and monuments to visit in this charming ancient village that was beautifully restored after an earthquake in 1971 badly damaged the medieval center. With archaeological sites, Romanesque churches, medieval towers and walls, fountains, Renaissance palaces, and panoramic views, Tuscania is certainly worth a stop. I am sincerely in love with it. Whether alone or with friends, I adore strolling through its colorful alleys and admiring the meticulous details of the doors and gates framed by luxuriant jasmine. If you love good food, you will be spoiled for choice. A myriad of trattorias and restaurants will welcome you to sample typical dishes of the area. In short, Tuscania is absolutely not to be missed.
